Single Notes

Ian McNeice wrote that being single is a constant battle with optimism.

How true.

When single we always wonder: Will I be single forever? Will the next guy be the one? Or will the next guy be another miserable drama?

Sometimes I swear I'm happier being single. Who want's to go through all the drama of the whole thing, it's so tiring. Maybe it won't be if the right one comes along. It's been so long I've forgotten!

I agree it is tiring.

I'm really reluctant to jump into any relationships at this point in my life.

I've been hurt too many times.

I also wonder if I'm happier single.

Well it's just a matter of finding the person who negates all the previous hurt. Once that happens everything else will be a distant memory. No sense in giving up, you know?

I know. We dating bloggers must keep the faith.

It depends on what kind of manufactured expectations le monde heaps upon you, and how you respond to it. If you live in a world of shame, obviously you'll feel bad about yourself. If you live in a progressive, mobile world, you probably have a life and can be happy being single. I barely even think about it. But then I'm not Catholic :P -A.Dub

Yes, A. Dub the world does set the bar high for people.

Things can get desparate if you are say a single woman over the age of 35.

In some ways the world is a little easier for men.
