"Time is the most valuable thing a man can spend," said
Diogenes Laƫrtius . And sometimes we have to spend a lot of it on mundane things like washing dishes, sleeping and brushing our teeth. So one must find joy in the mundane moments. It's like at the end of
American Beauty where Lester sees beauty in a plastic bag floating in the wind.
Too true, although I think that time is such a bendable subject, it always contorts and sometimes we have more then enough time to prepare for the things that we aren't ready for :)

ReplyDeleteTime is the most important part of our life till we have it we should make good use of it, but once gone it can never come back. So think twice before wasting your time.
ReplyDeleteGood observation... I think the meaning behind your post is being an optimist, see the beauty in everything... Only a beautiful person can see all the beauty around her (I mean beautiful from inside)
ReplyDeleteTo paraphrase the Buddhists, the trick is to live in "the now". Time doesn't exist if we live in the moment. If you can do this, what you happen to be doing is irrelevant. To me this makes sense as I don't think anything is inherently interesting or rewarding. All that matters is that we're not concerned about the past or future.
ReplyDeleteThis is oddly amusing. If I understood the point, sure those simple things of life may amuse us or we may miss them all together cause of worry from responsibility. Thank you for your thoughts.
